Turin Castle Ireland was built by the Burke Clan ( de Burgos). The castle is situated in the ancient barony of Kilmaine in the picturesque county of Mayo. From records we know that Turin Castle had been abandoned for at least two hundred and fifty years up until it’s restoration in 1997. The castle is owned by Brendan and Marnie Farrell.
