Hardy Bucks Ride Again starts Monday 26 October at 10.25pm on RTÉ2
The wild men of Irish comedy, the Hardy Bucks, are back this October Bank Holiday with a new series which was filmed and edited in Swinford, County Mayo. And this time the regular cast are joined by well known Irish actresses – Fair City’s Aoibheann McCaul and Susan Loughnane from Love/Hate.
Building on the success of their feature film, The Hardy Bucks Movie, the boys have begun filming six new episodes in Swinford, Co. Mayo.
All the gang are back, Martin Maloney as Eddie Durkan, Chris Tordoff as The Viper, and Owen Colgan as Buzz McDonnall – and in-between the usual mayhem and bad behaviour, the lads get caught up in a Mayo love triangle. The Viper tries to come to terms with a broken heart whilst running his new business venture. Eddie and Buzz may or may not have met the women of their dreams, Frenchtoast may or may not be back on the sauce and Boo and Koffi may or may not be getting married.
Episode 1
Eddie Durkan isn’t the man he used to be. Suffering from panic attacks after heavy weekends on the sauce, he feels he needs a woman’s touch to put him back on the straight and narrow and decides to have a go at winning back his ex Noreen – with disastrous results. Meanwhile, arch nemesis the Viper is expanding his weed dealing empire with the clever use of technology.
