Shhneaky Look! First episode of Hardy Bucks Ride Again premieres on RTÉ Player

It’s only 4 days until the wild men of Irish comedy, the Hardy Bucks, return to RTÉ2 with the new series beginning on October Bank Holiday Monday at 10.25pm. But fans of the Castletown lads don't have to wait that long to see the show. The first episode of the six-part series will premiere exclusively on RTÉ Player from tomorrow evening. 

The Hardy Bucks started as an online series and to celebrate their first TV series since Hardy Bucks The Movie, the first episode will debut at www.rte.ie/player from tomorrow at 8pm.

In episode 1, Eddie Durkan isn’t the man he used to be. Suffering from panic attacks after heavy weekends on the sauce, he feels he needs a woman’s touch to put him back on the straight and narrow and decides to have a go at winning back his ex Noreen - with disastrous results. Meanwhile, arch nemesis the Viper is expanding his weed dealing empire with the clever use of technology.

Hardy Bucks Ride Again starts Bank Holiday Monday 26 October on RTÉ2 at 10.25pm after Republic of Telly and will be available tomorrow from 8pm on RTÉ Player.

This series will see the return of all the gang including Martin Maloney as Eddie Durkan, Chris Tordoff as The Viper, and Owen Colgan as Buzz McDonnall – and in-between the usual mayhem and bad behaviour, the lads get caught up in a Mayo love triangle!  Plus the lads are joined by well known Irish actresses - Fair City’s Aoibheann McCaul and Susan Loughnane from Love/Hate.
