Access cinema have a free Information Session in Dublin on Wednesday June 22nd 1.30pm - 4.00pm. It is open to anyone interested in developing film screening activity in their local area.
The access>CINEMA team will be in attendance to answer queries and provide information.

Mayo based visual artist and filmmaker Bryan Gerard Duffy has recently co-produced, with filmmaker Emmet Sheerin, their new documentary "Sumud: Everyday Resistance", which is to be on the film festival circuit this summer. The documentary reveals the circumstances of two women who challenge the Israel Army polices employed to displace the Palestinian communities in the West Bank through house demolitions. This inspiring documentary discloses the use of community art projects as one of their tools to resist oppression and homelessness.

Screen Producers Ireland and Irish Equity signed a Collective Agreement covering Irish TV Drama production .
The Agreement provides for terms and conditions for artists employed on television drama productions commissioned by Irish broadcasters and reflects agreements in other jurisdictions where artists participate in profits generated from the sale of the programmes after an initial defined period.
This signing follows 18 months of progressive negotiations producing the first ever Collective Agreement for Artists working in the TV Drama industry.

Tiger Raid, the Iraq-set action-thriller which stars Irish actors Brian Gleeson, Damien Molony and Rory Fleck-Byrne, is to receive its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York next month.
Directed by Simon Dixon and co-written by Dixon, Mick Donnellan and Gareth Coulam Evans, Tiger Raid is based on Mayo man Donnellan's play Radio Luxembourg.
The play, which premiered at the Galway Fringe Festival in 2014, told the story of two criminals, Joe and Paddy, and a so-called 'tiger kidnapping'.
