Irish Tv seek Audience Development Manager

IRISH TV is seeking a Manager of Audience Development & Digital Marketing to play a critical role in driving innovative, actionable and efficient digital audience development and marketing partnerships that build awareness, drive traffic, and generate subscribers and subsequent revenue to support the growth of Irish TV’s Digital’s network of video offerings, apps, social footprint, and third party partnerships in the mobile and OTT space specifically.

This role is responsible for collaborating with a variety of internal and external parties and charged with helping to set strategy and develop audience growth. This individual will help develop Irish TV’s Digital traffic/customer acquisition and marketing campaigns via all available channels, with a keen eye on monetization. The manager will be a key leader and respected voice in the overall strategy and direction of Irish TV Digital, and will report to the VP of Irish TV America, and be based in New York City.

Duties

  •  Oversee and manage the efficient allocation of budget and resources to deliver against KPI’s and digital priorities that drives OTT & mobile subscribers and generates revenue
  • Leverage data to develop, execute, and oversee innovative, creative, and effective marketing strategies that raise awareness, grow traffic, increase subscribers and increase usage and consumption of Irish TV’s content, and platforms to drive revenue
  • Lead the development of strategic marketing/traffic/customer acquisition partnerships, creative executions, and influencer programs for Irish TV’s OTT and mobile offerings
  • Generate audience projections for existing and potential partnerships develop specific audience acquisition campaigns for Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, IOS Apple ipads/iphones, Android tablets/phones/devices
  •  Work with the Content team and local Irish TV editorial teams to develop and execute audience engagement/retention strategies for OTT/mobile content ideas to drive audience growth

Desired Skills and Experience

Basic Qualifications

  • 2-10 years digital marketing experience within consumer focused industries; with a focus specifically in audience development and digital media on OTT/Mobile platforms

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of best practices to grow presence on OTT SVOD and fan base on key video platforms
  • Proficiency with digital analytics tools and Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to promote/market digital products, mobile apps, and sites
  • Experience optimizing, growing and managing email programs
  • Excellent communication skills and extremely strong organizational skills a must
  •  Knowledge of Irish and/or Irish American culture or market a plus
  •  Ability to stay up-to-date on industry developments and competitors and to be active in the media community
  • Ability to closely manage budgets and timelines on concurrent campaigns supporting diverse business goals
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and be comfortable and confident addressing challenging situations effectively as well as experienced in affecting change and direction
  •  Hands on experience managing paid digital campaigns and budgets, overseeing vendors and platforms would be a plus
  •  Successfully growing audiences, developing and executing marketing campaigns and strategies and working with branded content.
